The opening of this movie was nice. Akala ko nga, gulatan agad ang pambungad but then the anticipation gave way into that mushy feeling kasi ipinakita kung gaano ka-ideal ang pamilya Mullins. It was beautifully made that I wish the story will end just the way it is. But then, the tragedy happened.
Six orphan girls and a nun were invited to the family's house couple of years after that. I really thought Linda is the one who'll be the main victim of the evil entity here. But turns out, it will prey on Janice's weakness because of her shortcomings brought by the limp on her left leg.
In a scene, you'll see Janice going up the second floor at habang mabagal siyang nakasakay dun sa mechanism na iyon, we also get to see how creepy and off the place they're hoping to be their true home.
Then there's the figure covered with blanket. I think that's the most awesome scene!
It irritated me and amused me at the same time that there were scenes that they just decided to put into the story para lang masabing nakakatakot. Iyong tipong napapa-"Ano iyon? Bakit may ganoon bigla? Some sequence of the terrifying moments seemed force, I think.
